If you’ve been googling “Where to play Warhammer Lithgow?” you’re definitely not the only one. Warhammer 40k (or Warhammer 40,000, if we’re being fancy) is one of those hobbies that’s even better when you’ve got a table, some terrain, and a few legends to roll dice with. The good news: you don’t have to travel to Sydney or hunt down a secret garage club. You can play right here in Lithgow.

Bathurst Warhammer 40k WHere to play warhammer

A regular place to play in Lithgow

At LithGeek (85 Main Street, Lithgow) we run a friendly, relaxed Warhammer 40k night where local players meet up, set up tables, and get games happening. Think Space Marines stomping around like they own the place, Orks doing Ork things (usually loud), and the occasional dramatic moment where someone’s hero survives on one wound and acts like the Emperor personally intervened.

We open the shop on Thursday nights from 6pm to 9pm, set up game tables, and players come in to play. The main goal is simple: give the Lithgow Warhammer community a consistent place to gather, grow, and welcome new people into the hobby.

New to Warhammer? You’ll be looked after

If you’re brand new, don’t stress. This isn’t a “you must already know everything” kind of crowd. The local group is genuinely welcoming — the kind of people who will happily answer questions about starting an army, building minis, or what paint to use for your first Space Marine shoulder pad without making you feel silly.

And if you’re experienced, even better — you’ll fit right in. Bring your army, bring your banter, and bring your best dice (or your worst dice… we won’t judge).

Models and paints in stock

One of the handy parts of playing in a shop is… you’re playing in a shop. We’ve got Warhammer models and Citadel paints in stock, along with the basics you need to get building and painting. If you’ve ever shown up for a game and realised you forgot glue, primer, or that one paint colour you absolutely need, you’ll understand how helpful that is.

We keep the essentials on hand, and if there’s ever something specific we don’t have on the shelf, we can order it in.

Not just Lithgow — nearby towns welcome too

We regularly see hobbyists coming in from around the region, so if you’re in Bathurst, Katoomba, Leura, Oberon, Portland, Dubbo, Zigzag, Bilpin, Blackheath or even Mellow Bath, you’re welcome to join. If you’ve been searching for a [town in our service area] Warhammer gaming group, consider this your open invite.

Come join the tables

Warhammer is at its best when it’s shared — painting tips, dramatic comebacks, hilarious misplays, and the occasional “why did I charge my Guardsmen into that” moment.

So, if you’re asking where to play Warhammer in Lithgow, the answer is: LithGeek, 85 Main Street. Drop in on Thursday night (6–9pm), say g’day, and join the other players.
