Most do not know this about me but, I study scams both online and old-school scams. It has been a passion of mine for many years. As a computer guy, I also encounter many of my clients who have been victims of online scams. So I decided to create a class to help seniors avoid scams.

How to avoid scams: Free class for seniors

Combining my knowledge of scams and over 20 years of teaching seniors how to use tech I have created a class designed from the ground up to help even the most technophobic senior citizens understand and avoid scams.

The Class is FREE!

We chose to make this senior class free! We did this because while I do charge to make sure that a scammer no longer has remote access to a phone or a computer after a scam, (Heartbreaking because we can’t afford to do it for free, after all, we are a business and need to keep the lights on)

it would be much better to avoid the scam altogether.

So talking with our business partners we have made this class FREE! We see this as a community service. Maybe we can help one person avoid a scam.

What makes this class different so seniors can understand?

We have removed all the tech out of the conversation. We don’t talk about viruses, protocols, or anything that requires any computer knowledge whatsoever. What we do is focus on the tricks scammers use that are older than computers.

We will be hosting this free training every month. With limited space in each class, we ask people to register by either calling our shop 02 6353 1669 or Registering online
