Repairs more than turning Screws

Repairs that Care

Repairs That Care means we treat your tech like it’s worth keeping—not just replacing. We provide thoughtful, high-quality repairs across PC and Mac computers, plus iPad and iPhone repairs, focusing on long-term reliability and clear communication. From slow machines, overheating, storage upgrades, and software issues to screen, battery, charging, and connectivity repairs, we’ll explain what’s going on in plain English, give you realistic options, and only recommend what genuinely makes sense for your device and budget. If a repair isn’t the right call, we’ll tell you—because doing the right thing is part of how we work.

Bathurst Warhammer 40k Katoomba

We host Warhammer games and stock the models because it’s more than a hobby—it’s a community. In a regional town, having a welcoming place to play helps people connect, learn, and have something genuinely fun to look forward to, whether you’re brand new or a long-time player. Warhammer is also a creative outlet (building, painting, storytelling) that fits perfectly with what Lithgeek is about: skill, craft, and enthusiasm—without gatekeeping. By running regular games and carrying kits, paints, and essentials, we make it easy to get started, keep your army growing, and give locals a reliable home base for tabletop nights.

Meet the Lithgeek Staff

Kevin C Mason, Owner of Lithgow Tech Services, Computer geek artist and gamer

Kevin “Mac” Mason

Kevin is the owner of Lithgeek and the go-to person for Apple and mobile device support, with 8 years at Apple as a Software Specialist (including Genius Bar and training) and a long background in IT support and phone repairs. He’s known for clear, friendly explanations—especially for seniors and adults who feel “not techy”—and brings a creative edge to the shop through custom builds, artistic case concepts, and problem-solving that puts honesty and long-term customer trust first.

Felipe “Batman” Plaza

Felipe is Lithgeek’s main Windows technician—approachable, practical, and excellent at translating “tech speak” into plain English. He specialises in Windows troubleshooting, networking, and getting home and small-business setups stable, secure, and easy to live with.

Tracy Collins

Tracy is the friendly face you’ll often meet first—helpful, organised, and genuinely enthusiastic about tech. She handles retail support and customer care, and as a keen PC gamer with an interest in 3D printing, she’s great at helping customers find the right accessories and options without the sales pressure

Astro

Astro is Lithgeek’s resident morale officer—always on standby for good vibes, friendly greetings, and keeping spirits high in the shop. If you’re lucky, you’ll get an Astro welcome on your way in (and possibly a judgemental look if you say you don’t back up your files).
