The problem with computers is that everyone wants instant information, they want fast delivery and they want everything now! For the most part, we can do that except when it comes to parts and products. We have to weigh the chances of ordering computer parts to have in stock that nobody will ever buy and having that instant gratification of having the parts ready to go before the customer even walks in the door.
Why can’t we just have one of every computer part in stock?
The biggest problem with ordering parts is there are so many of them. If we just choose the current lineup of Samsung phone parts the last time I calculated the cost of just the “S” Series it would cost 5 times more than we pay in rent … And Samsung “A” Series parts are so expensive most customers refuse to have their devices repaired. We have not even started with “S” Series, Tab Series, iPhone, AMD, Intel, Computer Cases, HP, etc.
We Physically would not have the space to hold this level of stock
Parts go down in value
I know that as much as you want the current graphics card at its current price, you will not want to pay the same price for that part next year. If we have the part in stock at the current price and we don’t sell it there is a good chance we will end up having to sell it for less than we purchased! This is bad business!
So how do we keep the prices down …. we ask you to wait 5 days.
I know this is really hard to do … but If you can wait a few days we can get the part in stock and actually make enough money to keep the doors open! We try to only order parts from companies that can get the parts to us in a week. However, there are times when the post office seems to have other plans.
What we can do however is make sure the repairs are done correctly and honour our warrenty with a smile.
